Lorenzo Celico 

Senior Health Economist and Consultant

Lorenzo is an experienced health economist and consultant with a strong academic background in economics and management, coupled with hands-on expertise in the pharmaceutical industry. Specializing in health economic modeling, cost-effectiveness analysis, and budget impact modeling, Lorenzo works primarily with pharmaceutical companies to assess the economic viability of new products, particularly in rare diseases. Lorenzo is adept at conducting statistical analysis of economic data and has contributed to publications in peer-reviewed journals.

Currently serving as a Senior Health Economist at IMAC, Lorenzo contributes to developing robust economic models and Global Value Dossiers for novel pharmaceutical products. Before this role, Lorenzo gained experience working as a health economics consultant at HEOR Value Hub and Nordic Nanovector, where he provided critical economic analysis.

In addition to a Master of Arts in Management and Economics from the University of Zürich, where he graduated summa cum laude, Lorenzo holds a Bachelor of Arts in Management and Economics from the University of Lucerne, earning the highest grade in his class. He also completed specialized training in Economic Evaluation in Healthcare at the University of York. Early in his career, Lorenzo worked as a physiotherapist in inpatient and outpatient settings across Italy and Switzerland, bringing a practical understanding of healthcare delivery to his economic work.
